Policy on medical waste disposal on the anvil

New Forest Policy soon, NA told

ISLAMABAD, Mar 11, 2010 (APP): The National Assembly was informed Thursday that new Forest Policy is on the anvil and shall soon be presented to the Cabinet for approval. Minister for Environment, Hamidullah Jan Afridi pointing out various lacunae in the previous policy, stated that a new policy had become imperative and the Ministry has prepared the draft policy in consultation with the provinces, NGOs, community and other stakeholders.
