KARACHI, Jan 27: The Sindh Environmental Protection Tribunal on Thursday directed a motorbike assembling firm to implement an environmental management plan and submit a compliance report by June 2.
Mohammad Naeem, the chief executive officer of SS Autos located in the Kotri Industrial Area, is facing a charge of failing to monitor pollution levels and ensure compliance with the national environmental quality standards.
The complaint was filed by the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (Sepa) invoking the Pakistan Environmental Protection Act, 1997.
