PESHAWAR, Aug 2: The Peshawar High Court on Tuesday put on notice the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA), the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and provincial ministry of environment in a writ petition challenging some mega projects in the provincial capital terming it environmentally unsafe.

They also suggested that the introduction of cost-effective water purification systems was urgently needed in the country.
The seminar on ‘Safe drinking water through solar water disinfection (SODIS)’ was organised by Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI).
