Over 100 years old trees cut down

RAWALPINDI, Sept 26: Four trees aging over 100 years, which stood on the premises of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB), have been cut down in the name of some construction works.
The trees of dates and pines were planted during the British Raj. The RCB building was constructed in 1891 by Lansdowne Trust founded by Sardar Kirpal Singh Rai Bahadur and Sardar Sujan Singh Rai Bahadur.
